Go to the Library Book ListThe Joseph Bucklin Society (JBS) Library has several bibliographies, lists of citations to books, scholarly articles, and other written materials focusing on the Society's subjects of English and American history study.  One of those is the bibliography on the subject of the Gaspee attack of 1772, its causes and its aftermath.  The bibliography is called the "Gaspee Shelf" of the JBS Library.  In short, the JBS "Gaspee Shelf" is a bibliography intended for persons who want to learn more about not only the first shot of the American Revolution --- the attack on the Gaspee --- but also the events that formed the background of the attack.
